Hollyoaks' Rob Norbury eyes Corrie boyfriend role

Hollyoaks star Rob Norbury has admitted he would love to follow in the footsteps of his former co-star Chris Fountain and nab a role in Coronation Streett as Michelle Keegan's boyfriend.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine Rob - who plays Riley Costello in the show - said he was somewhat envious of Chris for his onscreen romance.
"As long as I got to have a hot girlfriend on screen I probably wouldn't mind who I played!" he said.
"I've enjoyed watching Chris as Tommy in Coronation Street. He's been really great in the role - and as well as doing a brilliant job, he gets to be with Tina!"
Rob - whose character was once engaged to Mercedes Fisher (Jennifer Metcalfe) added that he is good friends offscreen with co-star Rachel Shenton, who plays Mitzeee.
"I get on well with Rachel but I don't really know why!" he revealed.
"She doesn't like football, she doesn't like sport, she doesn't like drinking - I don't know what we end up talking about!"
